The Super Set Weekend is fast approaching with the singles Sat. July 12th and the doubles Sun. July 13th. This is a members only tournament with divisions for all levels of play. Sign up sheets are in the clubhouse so don't be shy. This is an event not to be missed and has proven to be one of the best events on the clubs calender.
Hope to see everyone there and make this seasons event another great one!

Over 80 kids have a blast thanks to Optimist Club

Over 80 children came out and enjoyed the games, prizes, pizza and Gatorade all made possible by the Stratford Optimist Club. The weather man was on our side this time and made for a great day. It is always one of the most popular kids events at the club and this year was no exception. Special Thanks to The Stratford Optimist Club and all the helpers that ran the games.

Optimist Junior Tennis Day Rain Date Sat. July 5th

The Optimist Junior Tennis Day will go this weekend July 05 starting at 10am until noon. This is the make up date from the event that was rained out. Everyone is welcome for a fun day of tennis games and goodies.

The Optimist Junior Tennis Day will take place from 10am until noon Sat. June 21st. This is a great event and is always well attended. It is a fun day of tennis games aimed at having FUN! Pizza, Gatorade and prizes are provided by the Optimist Club.

Noble/Klassen Rogers Cup Tennisaccess.com B Champions

The Rogers Cup Tennisaccess.com Tour made its Men's and Ladies doubles stop in Stratford this past weekend. Some of the best club level doubles players in the province took part in the event. STC player John Noble partnered with former STC club pro Mike Klassen to capture the "B" Title. A record six Stratford teams took part all advancing well into the tournament.

Max Besworth continued his winning ways as he captured the non ranked OFSSA singles title in Toronto recently representing Central.

Royal LePage Hiller Realty Australian Open Big Hit

The first event of the Royal LePage Hiller Realty JR Grand Slam was held today. The event was a big hit with players and fans. All age groups were well represented and the level of play was exceptional.

These events are designed for all ages and levels of play and are always a highlight of the tennis season. Medals were given out to all the winners and finalists and a BBQ lunch helped fuel the hungry athletes.

Royal LePage Hiller Realty "Australian Open" JR Tournament May 31st

The Royal LePage Hiller Realty Junior Grand Slam gets underway May 31st with the "Australian Open". This is open to all Junior age player with lots of divisions for all level of play. This is always a great event so get signed up at the club house.

Tennis Access Tour returns June 14th

Some of the best club level Men's and Ladies Doubles team will return to the STC to take part in the Tennisaccess.com tour stop in Stratford. This is a Grand Slam stop on the tour with double ranking points up for grabs. Four Stratford teams are already set to compete in this event so come out and support them and enjoy some high quality doubles.

40th season Celebration

We Hope to see everyone out Friday May 23rd to help celebrate our 40th season. Courts plus will be there with the latest equipment and fashions. We will be having adult and junior clinics and round robins to test the latest gear and win some prizes. Free hamburger and hot dog BBQ will begin following a short ceremony at 7pm.

This in an open invitation to all past, present and future members. Please come out and support this event and have a blast!!!!!!!!

Dyke & Besworth Win Doubles Title

The doubles team of Shannon Dyke and Max Besworth won the U of T Invitational title played at the Rexall Centre in Toronto last week. The STC players representing Central High School finished with the silver last year.
